Milwaukee -- The non-profit group Common Ground believes if public financing ends up helping the Milwaukee Bucks build a new arena - money should also be set aside to help improve athletic facilities at all milwaukee county public schools.

Leaders say $150 million should be considered to help upgrade fields.

Hundreds gathered Sunday to launch a new campaign called Fair Play.

Jennifer O'Hear has a daughter set to attend a school with rundown facilities.

She thinks its a perfect time to look into improvements.

"That's why it really makes sense to do this parallel investment. Invest in the Bucks, invest in the athletic facilities for the kids," O'Hear said.

144 volunteers offered to survey facilities at all the public schools in Milwaukee County over the next few weeks.
