No charges for owner of dog that killed toddlerMILWAUKEE -- 12 days after a one-year-old child was killed by a pit bull, the Walworth County District Attorney has decided not to press charges against the dog's owner. The 30-year-old dog owner was babysitting the toddler when he was attacked. Walworth County District Attorney Dan Necci says he reviewed the evidence in the case, and decided it did not meet the criteria of a crime. He told CBS 58 there has to be evidence of a previous propensity for violence by the pit bull. The March 6th attack took place in the town of Walworth around 12: 45 p.m. The toddler was taken to Mercy-Walworth Medical Center, and later transported to Children's Hospital. The toddler died around 3:30 p.m.
