New security policy at Bucks gamesAll fans attending NBA games now subjected to metal detector screeningMilwaukee--There was a noticeable increase in security at Wednesday night's Milwaukee Bucks game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. A new league-wide security policy went into effect that requires all fans be checked for weapons or other items not allowed inside the arena. Security members armed with hand held metal detectors scanned fans before they reached the ticket turnstiles. The screenings didn't seem to slow the flow of fans heading into the arena to see the game. For the past season and a half, the NBA had required only random security screenings.
