MILWAUKEE -- Bryant & Stratton College has announced it's opening of a Children's College at its Wauwatosa Campus. The new addition will offer students a unique program for their children while they attend classes.

Construction has now begun and the new Children's College is set to open for the fall semester starting September 11, 2013. The College will be a safe and nurturing environment, dedicated to promoting learning and providing hands-on enrichment activities. It will be for ages 3-12, and will operate Monday through Saturday during scheduled classes. The campus is planning an open house for August 15, 2013.

According to Lois Trongard, Business Office Director of the Bryant & Stratton College Wisconsin Campuses, one of the main obstacles for many students wanting to attend or continue college is lack of child care. "We continue to look for ways to accommodate our students, and the new Children's College will give parents 'peace of mind' while they attend classes," says Trongard.

The cost of the Children's College will be $1,000 per term for full-time students (12 or more credits) and $600 for part-time students. Bryant & Stratton College is awarding grants of $600 and $800 to continuing and new full-time students, reducing the costs for the fall term. Some of the programs at the College will include classes in technology, art, dance, theater, nutrition, and health.
