NEW BERLIN---At first it began with a story about a teacher who receives a reward, until the teacher realized the story was about her.

The early childhood education company called "Knowledge Universe" surprised Kindercare teacher Linda Fadden with a $10,000 check Thursday.

The award is based on eductors who show a dedication to not only kids but parents.

Fadden has been doing just that for the past ten years at Kindercare.

"It comes down to passion," Fadden told CBS 58. "Being with children is my life."
