NEW BERLIN--A teen has been found dead in New Berlin from a gunshot.

Police said that about 6 p.m. Saturday they found the teen’s body inside a car near Swartz and Racine.

The New Berlin School District said Panayiotis Panagiotopouls was the teen found dead in the car and is one of their students.

The School District is working closely with the New Berlin Police Department, counselors and staff members who are working collectively to support its students and their families.

They have set up a hotline for anyone who needs counseling related to the teens’ death at 1-800-236-3231.
