MILWAUKEE - The city has secured a $350,000 national grant to help revitalize two neighborhoods.

An old railroad corridor will be transformed into trail connecting the Harambee and Riverwest neighborhoods. The trail will be well lit with art and social activities.

Officials believe the revitalization will help make this unused area a safer place for all. A part of the grant will also be used to spruce up Wisconsin Avenue in Downtown Milwaukee.
