Murder suspect arrested after standoff on Milwaukee's north side

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police arrested 30-year-old Cory Long after an early morning standoff on December 28th. Police say Long is wanted for the murder of Eddie Taylor on December 10th.

According to police, around 2:40 a.m. police approached a home in the 4200 block of W. Roosevelt with a tip Long was there. They caught Long coming out of the house, and quickly retreat once he saw police.

Police evacuated the home, and used negotiators to get Long to surrender. No injuries are being reported in this Milwaukee standoff.
