Marquette students move in

MILWAUKEE -- The weather says summer, but for a lot of families, the calendar says it's time to get ready for school.  In fact, today is move in day at Marquette.

All day from 8:00am to 7:00pm, McCormick Hall, O'Donnell Hall and Abbottsford Hall will be open for students to move in.

This kicks off new student orientation.  Marquette President Scott Pilarz will officially welcome the class of 2017 this evening at the Al McGuire Center.  It will be followed by a back-to-school square dance, which is a 30-year-old tradition.

There are activities scheduled all day on Saturday and Sunday, wrapping up with an all-campus mass.
