Missing Stradivarius Leaves One Violin Expert Worried Out Loud

Tools

(Bay View)--Korinthia Klein is mourning the loss of the missing Stradivarius reportedly ripped out of the hands of a famous violinist just days ago. She has her doubts it'll ever be returned. She says what makes this so hard is the uniqueness of the 300-year old violin itself.

She says violins are like humans. They have their own personalities and their own voices, and matching them up with the right players can be very difficult.

There are roughly 500 Stradivarius violins around the world, including at the Smithsonian and Library of Congress. CBS58 spoke with the FBI late today, and it says there are no new leads. Also there are no rewards being offered at this time either.
