MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police Officer Carl Howell is accused of stealing $200 from a crime scene at a convenience store after responding to a burglary call. Howell entered a not guilty plea during his preliminary hearing today.

The court ruled there is enough evidence to send him to trial on a felony charge of misconduct in office. Howell is suspended with pay while the case makes its way through the court system.
