One person killed; another injured in two separate shootings

MILWAUKEE-- Milwaukee Police are investigating two shootings that happened Tuesday night.

Police were called to 34th Street near Michigan around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday.

A 29-year-old male died from gun shout wounds he suffered.

Police are still investigating. There is no suspect in custody at this time.

About an hour late officers were called to the area of 29th & Locust for a second shooting.

A 16-year-old male was shot in the upper torso while standing on the sidewalk.

His was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries are believed to be non life threatening.

There is currently no suspect in custody for this shooting.
