Milwaukee mom caught drunk driving with four kids in car

MILWAUKEE -- 24-year-old Keshia Spikes of Milwaukee was caught drunk driving with four children in the car on March 18th. Spikes was pulled over at 11:45 p.m. by a Milwaukee County sheriff's deputy on Sherman Blvd. near North Ave.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says Spikes has a blood alcohol concentration of .26, which is more than three times the legal limit.

Spikes was driving with a 26-year-old female passenger and four children. Two of the children were hers and the other two were the passenger's children.

Child Protective Services couldn't contact a family member for Spikes, and had to take the children. The passenger and her two children were able to secure a ride.

Spikes is faces up to six months in prison for this incident. She's also being held for a felony violation of probation stemming from a July 2011 case related to child neglect and drug trafficking charges.
