MILWAUKEE -- Another Milwaukee bridge will close for several months as crews work to fix it up.

The Pleasant Street life bridge over the Milwaukee River shuts down today for 11 months.

Crews will install a new bridge deck, railing and pedestrian walks on the bridge at Commerce Street, just north of downtown.

The bridge should be reopened next August.

Crews just finished work on the Wisconsin Avenue bridge a few weeks ago.
