MILWAUKEE -- In his 2013 State of the City Address, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett addressed controversial issues like the residency requirement for city workers, and  nearly 100 jobs coming to the city.

Mayor Barrett says two companies would bring as many as 100 jobs to the city. One is Natural Resources Technology, an environmental engineering and consulting firm out of Pewaukee that plans to bring its headquarters to a building near the Reed St. yards. Ingeteam located in the Menomonee Valley is looking to add another 50 jobs.

Mayor Barrett also talked about the issue of whether to build a new arena for the Milwaukee Bucks. The mayor says he wants the NBA team to stay in Milwaukee, but is against a Milwaukee only financing plan. He says, "We need to have a regional plan, because the Bradley Center is a regional and state asset just like Miller Park."
