Milwaukee Gay Activist Allegedly Murdered by Lover's HusbandRaymond Baker charged with 1st degree murder
MILWAUKEE-In court documents just released Friday, 35 year old Raymond Baker is quoted as admitting to shooting gay activist Desiree Harrell because she was sleeping with his wife.
Baker originally came to police two days after Harrell was found shot in her car. He brought two women with him to back up his alibi, but police say when their stories didn't match they mirandized Baker who then confessed. He said he saw Harrell drive by a location where he admits to trying to sell drugs. He is quoted as saying he walked up to her car and she said something that angered him. He pulled out his 40 caliber glock pistol and opened fire. Harrell suffered eight gunshot wounds. Friends and family tells CBS 58's Rielle Creighton that they hope a hate crime enhancer is added to the case. They also wonder if others might have been involved in setting up Harrell and having her in the area of the defendant in those early morning hours of January 2nd. |

Someone asked why the Hmong are here. The Hmong people are here because they aided the USA during the Vietnam and Cambodian Wars. They were fighting for the USA!!! This is not the time to worry about someone choice to be gay or whether or not this is a black crime or white crime. Crime has no color and just because an individual chose another lifestyle it does not make them a bad person. Only god can judge you or me.
