MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) is making your transportation to Festa Italiana easier in two ways: offering shuttle service along Wisconsin Avenue and Freeway Flyers from five park-and-ride lots.

Downtown Shuttle Service will be provided roughly every half-hour from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20, and from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 21. Buses operate in both directions along Wisconsin Ave. When traveling to Festa Italiana, the shuttle stops between N. 6th Street and N. Jackson Street, then proceeds directly to Mid Gate. Stops are made at all bus stops marked with the Summerfest smile logo.

Freeway Flyer service will be available for the following park-and-ride lots: Brown Deer East, College, Holt, State Fair Park, and Watertown Plank Road. Service operates every half-hour approximately on the hour and half-hour. Service begins a half-hour before the event and ending a half-hour after the event.

MCTS also serves downtown with multiple local routes from all over Milwaukee County, with many of the routes connecting with Downtown Shuttle.

Shuttles are $3.00 round trip for adults and $1.50 for children (6-11 years), seniors (65+), and persons with disabilities with proper ID. Freeway Flyer round-trip fare is $6.50 for adults and $3.00 for children, seniors, and persons with disabilities with proper ID.
