MILWAUKEE-- The Milwaukee County Sheriff released the arrest report, 9-1-1 tapes, and dash cam video from Brewers ace Yovani Gallardo's April 16 arrest for OWI.  According to the arrest report, a 9-1-1 caller tipped police off.  There is no indication from the audio that the caller knew it was Gallardo behind the wheel, but she was worried the driver was putting others in danger.

TRANSCRIPT:  911: What is he doing?                                                                                                    Caller: he's on the shoulder right now.  Now he's swerving back in.  He's been like this the whole time, he's going to hurt someone.

That 9-1-1 call set Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies in motion.  When the Ford F-150 pickup driven by Gallardo passed a squad car on Westbound I-94, the Sheriff's deputy pursued.  Dash cam video shows the pickup truck weaving in and out of multiple lanes.  When it slows to a crawl on the shoulder, the deputy pulls Gallardo over.

DASH CAM TRANSCRIPT:  Deputy:  all right how much you had to drink tonight?
Gallardo: couple beers
Deputy:  couple beers?
Gallardo: Yeah.

According to the incident report, the deputy smelled a strong odor of alcohol on Gallardo's breath, and his eyes appeared red and glassy.  Gallardo told the deputy he is from Texas, and has trouble telling the deputy the address of where he is headed in Milwaukee.

DASH CAM TRANSCRIPT:  Gallardo:  I'm not from here
Deputy: You're not from here?  You live there did you move here? Are you moving here or what's going on?
Gallardo: I play for the Milwaukee Brewers
Deputy: you play for the Brewers
Gallardo: Yeah
Deputy: yeah, ok, allright

Gallardo also appeared to have trouble keeping his balance during field sobriety tests, then he was given a preliminary breath test, which lead to his arrest.

DASH CAM TRANSCRIPT: Deputy:  see where you're at?  Almost quadruple the legal limit all right?  I have to place you in custody for operating under the influence.

Gallardo later paid a fine for his first OWI offense.  The incident report describes him as cooperative throughout the process.
