Milwaukee Co. road conditions

by Keith Meka

MILWAUKEE COUNTY - Despite the snowfall Thursday road conditions were pretty good into the evening. Rain was a concern before the snowfall because crews weren't able to treat the roads with salt before hand. Above freezing temperatures helped keep the roads from forming ice under the snow. Once the snow began falling, D.P.W crews started salting the roads to keep them from freezing. While the roads were in relatively good shape Thursday night some drivers did find some trouble spots.
