Milwaukee Archbishop's Christmas Message

by Michele McCormack

MILWAUKEE---Archbishop Jerome Listecki is asking parishoners to take Christ into the world.

In his Christmas Adress Listecki spoke of Jesus Christ's uncondtional love and urged believers to look to children and their innocence and delight in the season as they face the new year.

"Christmas belongs to children and, in the true sense, Christmas belongs to us," Listecki said. "We are drawn to the child in the manger, brought into this world to save us."

The Archbishop celebrated midnight mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in downtown Milwaukee.
