Milwaukee Archbishop in Hospital

MILWAUKEE-Archbishop Jerome Listecki was in the hospital Friday night after undergoing a heart procedure earlier in the day.

A spokesperson for the Archdiocese says Listecki was taken to the hospital early Friday morning after suffering chest pains.

Testing revealed a blocked artery.

Doctors placed a stent in that artery to widen the passage and restore normal blood flow.

The Archbishop is said to be doing fine.
