Milwaukee police investigate fatal shooting near 20th and Auer Ave.

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide near 20th and Auer Ave. that happened around 10:50 a.m. on October 1st. Police say a man was driving a silver Honda Accord north on 20th St. when he was shot.

The victim's car continued north on 20th St., eventually striking a tree near 20th and Concordia Ave.

A law enforcement source tells CBS 58 that they do not believe this was stray gunfire.

It's believe the 25 year old victim was targeted. It's possible someone was in the car with him, but nobody stuck around.
