Mental health facility escape accomplice foundMILWAUKEE --- The 22-year-old man who helped his girlfriend escape from the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex Wednesday morning has turned himself in. His girlfriend, 33-year-old Charmain Evans-Brooks, escaped with his help Wednesday morning. Gillie went to the mental health complex under the pretense of checking himself in. When staff opened the door from the secure area, Gillie held the door open for Evans-Brooks, allowing her to escape. She was located Wednesday afternoon, while Gillie remained at large until he turned himself over to Sherff's deputies Thrusday morning. |
