Mental competency hearing for child kidnapping suspect

MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- A doctor's report could reveal if a woman accused of trying to kidnap a young girl from a Milwaukee elementary school will go to trial.

Lisa Isaac, 34, has a mental competency hearing Thursday.

According to court records, in May, Isaac was able to get inside Frances Starms Elementary School and snatch someone else's 4-year-old.

The little girl's mother saw it happen and grabbed her child before Isaac could get away.

She is charged with kidnapping and child abduction.
