MILWAUKEE -- Keep prescription drugs out of Lake Michigan by safely disposing them at Medicine Collection April 27th at Miller Park. This event is a part of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's (D.E.A.) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

Since 2006, collections efforts like this have removed more than 18 tons of unused medicine in Milwaukee County.

The 2013 Medicine Collection Day will start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m. The D.E.A. is looking for prescription and over the counter drugs, ointments, sprays, inhalers, creams, vials, and pet medication.

Please do not bring: Illegal drugs, bio-hazardous material, needles/sharps, personal care products like shampoo, soaps, lotions, sunscreens, etc.
