MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office responded to an apartment building at N. 95th and W. Sheridan Ave to assist in the death investigation of a 34 month-old-boy.

Milwaukee police say they were called to the scene around 12:30pm when the boy's mother found him unresponsive in bed.  Family identify the boy as S'Dannez Ray.

"I woke up to a guy outside of my window saying a 2-year-old baby had died and I just jumped up and ran straight through the field," said neighbor Michael Mordican.  "It's very sad.  It's very sad."

According to police the investigation is ongoing, pending the results of an autopsy.  No one is in custody.
