MILWAUKEE-- Marquette's run in March Madness came to an end Saturday night. Golden Eagle Fans at 55 official viewing parties across the country cheered on the team until the finish. Ryan Roberts watched from Anchorage, Alaska alongside 15 other MU fans. "It's nice. You feel like you are still connected to Marquette family," says Ryan Roberts who graduated from Marquette in 2006.

In Irvine, California, Christine Glover cheered on her alma matter with old friends. "It was fun to see old alumni and rekindle. I actually saw an old high school teacher who went to Marquette, so it was fun," says Glover.

Marquette fell to Syracuse 55-39. Fans in Milwaukee say they felt the loss. "It's like seeing a family member down on the ground. When they don't make their shots, you feel for them. At the same time you are ever hopeful and positive that it is going to work out," says Susan Whipple who works at the University.
