Man stabbed during robbery

MILWAUKEE--Milwaukee Police are investigating an early morning stabbing.

Shortly before 6:00 a.m. Tuesday a 56-year-old Milwaukee man was was in a gas station parking lot in the 2900 block of Fond du Lac Ave.

That's when a 27-year-old man approached him an d attempted to rob him while threatening him with a knife.

The victim resisted and the suspect stabbed him.

Officers quickly arrived on scene and were able to arrest the suspect.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and is expected to be ok.

Police continue to investigate whether the suspect is responsible for other robberies.
