MILWAUKEE-- One man is dead after an overnight shooting.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office confirms that they were called out to 40th & Fond du Lac around 1:30 a.m. Monday

A 37-year-old male was fatally shot.

The victim's identity is being withheld while his family is being notified.

Authorities are not releasing the circumstances surrounding the shooting at this time.
