Man arrested for fatal Wal-Mart shooting
SHEBOYGAN--A 21-year-old man is arrested for a shooting at Wal-mart.
It happened at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Wal-Mart at 3711 Taylor Drive. Two males were shot. A 20-year-old was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital, but later died on his injuries. A 21-year-old was taken to Memorial Hospital. He was later transferred to Froedtert via Flight for Life where he remains in critical condition Two other males were on scene during the incident, but were not injured. Officers were able to determine that a confrontation occurred outside the store that resulted in the suspect, not associated with the victims, discharging his gun toward them and two of their friends. The suspect was later tracked to a residence in the 1800 block of North 10th Street where he was arrested for 1st Degree Reckless homicide and three counts of attempted 1st degree reckless homicide. He was at the Sheboygan County Detention Center awaiting formal charged by the District Attorney’s office. |
