Man accused of kidnapping children, crashing vehicle in Menomonee Falls

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Officials may release more details Tuesday about an abduction that started in the Fox Valley and wound up in Menomonee Falls.

Law enforcement officials tell CBS 58 around 5:00 p.m. Monday, they learned of a possible child abduction in Fond du Lac

Police say a 19-year-old Milwaukee man snatched three children from their Fond du Lac home following a domestic dispute with their mother.

Authorities got word of the suspect's vehicle. Officers spotted the vehicle and began chasing it. The suspect eventually crashed the vehicle in Menomonee Falls.

The suspect abandoned the vehicle at the scene, but officers were able to catch up with him and arrest him. The three children, ages 3, 4 and 5 were taken to Children's Hospital to be treated for injuries.

The suspect is facing kidnapping charges.
