Major Break in Hit and Run Case

MILWAUKEE---A motorist involved in a deadly hit and run last weekend has surrendered to police.

It was early Sunday when 41-year-old Kendrick Finch was struck and killed near 63rd and Fond Du Lac.

Witnesses say the woman driving the car got out to check the damage on her vehicle, but didn't check on Finch before driving off.

Milwaukee Police say that the woman turned herself in Thursday.

As of Friday night, no formal charges had been filed.
