MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Public Schools is encouraging parents to take advantage of their three-choice enrollment process. The process will help parents looking to move their child to a new school inside the district.

Parents can either visit schools in person, go to a parent resource center, or just go online to browse schools that may be a good fit.

"The advantage is it gives you your best opportunity to get that first choice school," says MPS Spokesman Tony Tagliavia. "Because what happens after that time is that enrollment's still open, you can enroll pretty much through the first day of school, but after February 21st, it's on a first come, first served basis."
