M&I Bank signage replaced by BMO Harris
by Laura Matovina

MILWAUKEE -- M&I Banks have been around in Milwaukee for decades, but while the buildings will remain, the name is about to vanish.

BMO Harris took over the bank last summer and now they are replacing the last few M&I signs covered by the BMO Harris display.

Milwaukee's M&I started in 1847 and has been the largest bank in Wisconsin until the recent takeover. BMO Harris is also expanded its visibility by paying for the naming rights to the Bradley Center and a stage in Maier Festival Park.
