MCSO arrest 28 drunk drivers during Labor Day weekend
MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office reports they've arrested 28 drunk drivers during Labor Day weekend DUI enforcement. This special enforcement began on August 30th and ended September 3rd. Only two people arrested for drunk driving over the weekend were from outside the state.
Sheriff deputies arrested eight repeat drunk drivers, one of which was on his fifth DUI. 54-year-old Brent Schadde from Port Washington was arrested by deputies who found him passed out inside his vehicle on I-794 eastbound. We're told the engine was running when deputies found him early Sunday morning. His prior DUI conviction were in 1990, 1991, 1995, and 1998. If convicted, Schadde faces up to six years in prison.
