MILWAUKEE -- Millions of Americans will celebrate the life of a civil rights pioneer on Monday.

Hundreds of local and state leaders, including Governor Scott Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett attended teh annual MLK Day Breakfast at the Delta Center in downtown Milwaukee.

The YMCA throws the breakfast each year and it's been hailed the largest event honoring Dr. King in the State of Wisconsin.

Organizers are encouraging everyone to take a page from Dr. King's book and make Monday and every day, one of service.
