Local Man Arrested in Serial Child Sex Assault Case

Racine Police Seeking More Information on Suspect

RACINE-Even after the arrest of a man on multiple child pornogrphy charges, police are asking the public if they know anything else to come forward.

It is a clear indication that the case might be much bigger than what it is right now.

28 year old Alexander Richter is being held on multiple counts of enging in sex acts with children on camera.

One officer on the case says the details are beyond disturbing.

In a press release issued Monday police said:

"On November 9th, 2012 Alexander Richter was arrested in the 2800 block of Jacato Dr.

Richter was arrested for First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Repeated Sexual Assault of a Child.

On this same date a search warrant was also executed by the Racine Police Department at Alexander Richter's apartment at 2800 Jacato Dr.

The evidence recovered during this warrant indicates Alexander Richter may have sexually assaulted and victimized young boys and girls that have not yet been reported to the Racine Police Department.

Alexander Richter was a student at Gateway Technical College in Racine and was known to have watched the children of fellow students.

The Racine Police Department is interested in speaking to anyone who may have had their children watched by Alexander Richter in the last few years.
