LAC LA BELLE -- A large home is a total loss after it was fully engulfed in flames late Monday night. The house on Monastery Hill Lane in the Village of Lac La Belle caught fire just before 11:00 p.m.

The listed owner of the residence that was damaged in the fire is Yobi Islami.

There were no fire hydrants in the immediate area so crews had to drive the water in, delaying the firefighting process. The fire was eventually upgraded to a 3-alarm while crews struggled to get water to the home.

The residence was fully engulfed upon arrival of the first squad. It is believed that the residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire as the homeowners were accounted for. No injuries were sustained from the incident, however, the house was a total loss.

Waukesha County Fire Investigators still have an ongoing investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
