LAKE GENEVA -- David Tarlo of Lake Geneva has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography. The Division of Criminal Investigation from the Department of Justice discovered pornographic images on an Apple iMac recovered at Tarlo's work.

On April 8, 2013, Tarlo's ex-wife Michele Allen found the images on a work computer at her business in Lake Geneva. Allen told investigators her ex-husband worked for her company between 2007 and 2011. Investigators found that the pictures of child pornography on the iMac were primarily viewed in November and December of 2009, and March or 2011.

Allen told investigators Tarlo was the only male to use the iMac computer at work. According to the criminal complaint, Tarlo admitted to recognizing some of the images found on the computer and admitted to searching for "young girls" on the internet. He also admitted to volunteering at an elementary school and dance studio where young girls practice dance.

If convicted on all counts, Tarlo faces up to 125 years in prison.
