DANVILLE, KY---Danville is getting ready for the much anticipated Vice Presidential Debate and residents are reacting to the preparations for the big night.

"I think it's amazing," said Danville resident Robert Pennington. "I don't think since I've been living around here I've seen anything like it."

Neither has Wally Bremer, a former Wisconsinite who manages a Main Street coffee shop where there's lively political debate year round.

Bremer says he plans to vote for Romney.

"I'm not really happy with the voting choice I made last election," Bremer explained.

Kentucky may be a red state, but this week, Danville has put out a bipartisan welcome mat. After arriving this evening, Paul Ryan enjoyed some family time tonight before taking the stage tomorrow against a vice president who has 18 debates under his belt.

CBS 58's Mike Strehlow and John Cuoco will be bringing live coverage of tomorrow's debate starting at 8:00 p.m.
