RACINE---A Racine County Judge has ruled that a man can not have any more children until he can prove he can pay for them.

Corey Curtis spoke with CBS 58's Tiffany Tarpley about the order against him.

"Judges, they make rulings," Curtis said, "they make them kind of hastily. So, if that's what he feels one of my conditions should be then I'm going to abide by it."

The 44-year-old Curtis was charged with failure to pay support on two of the nine children he has fathered with six women.

According to court records, Curtis has a balance of around $85,000 including interest owed to the mother of those two children who are now adults.

When asked if he considers himself a deadbeat dad;

"There's a lot of people that always have something to say, unfortunately those are the people that don't even know you anyway."

Curtis is on probation for three years.
