Janesville man convicted of 7th OWIJANESVILLE -- Terence Rittenhouse, 45, of Janesville was arrested for his 7th OWI offense. Rittenhouse initially caught the attention of a Rock County sheriff deputy while speeding near County Hwy. D and W. Hanover Rd. The Rock County Sheriff's Department says Rittenhouse was seen crossing into on-coming traffic, and almost hit a deputy's squad car. Once stopped, Rittenhouse's car had heavy front-end damage. He also had facial injuries from an accident, but police don't know where that accident took place. Rittenhouse was transported to Mercy Hospital, and later taken to Rock County Jail. Rittenhouse has drunk driving convictions dating back to 1999. |
