MILWAUKEE---The Irish Cultural Heritage Center at 21st and Wisconsin was filled with good music and fellowship Saturday night, as dancers and lovers of Irish culture raised money for homeless veterans.

They held the 21st Annual Ceili for Peace. Ceili means party in the Irish language.

Renowned set dance instruction Julie Clark led dancers in an array of dances.

Participants were asked to bring along donated hygiene products for veterans and non perishable food items.

Tickets proceeds and money raised through a silent auction went to the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative which  provides  services for homeless or at risk veterans.

CBS 58 was proud to bring attention to this worthy cause and the good work Milwaukee' s Irish
community does year round at the historical landmark ICHC.
