GREEN BAY-CBS 58's Earl Arms is at Lambeau Field Thursday night for the NFL Draft.

On the news at 5:00 Earl noted that Packers Fans will have a long wait.

The Kansas City Chiefs have the first pick given their worst record in the NFL.

It was right around 10 p.m. that the Packers announced they had picked Defensive End Datone Jones from UCLA.

Scouts say he's the kind of player team's covet because he can play a number of different  positions in several schemes.

Earlier in the evening, for the brief time, they allowed cameras into the war room, Coach Mike McCarthy was seated at a table with General Manage Ted Thompson. Packers President Mark Murphy was standing between them.
