Husband of slain officer waives hearing
MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- The man accused of gunning down his wife on Christmas Eve waives his preliminary hearing and is bound over for trial.
Benjamin Sebena, 30, is charged with first degree intentional homicide for Wauwatosa Police Officer Jennifer Sebena's murder. On Christmas Eve, Officer Sebena was walking back to her squad car after her break when her husband allegedly ambushed her and killed her. Her fellow officers found Sebena's body hours later, when she did not respond to a radio call. Police said her husband voluntarily went to the Wauwatosa Police Station after her death and eventually confessed to the crime. He returns to court at the end of January and faces life in prison. |
