One of those firefighters, Anthony Rose, was engaged to a Case High School Graduate Tiffany Hettrick, who is also expecting. He was raised in Wisconsin.

On Wednesday night, the remains of Rose arrived in Lake County for his final resting place.

At just 23, Rose was on of the youngest hot shot firefighters ever. He had reportedly been a firefighter since 18.

A fund has been set up at Case high school for Hettrick who is due in October.

His family now lives in Beach Park.

Firefighters from Wisconsin and Illinois went to the regional airport in Waukegan for the arrival and are expected to attend the funeral in nearby Zion on Thursday.
