MILWAUKEE --- The Milwaukee Police Department had to calm some rowdy fans after a Bradley Tech and Bay View High School basketball game got heated.

It began on the court just after 8:00 p.m. near the end of the city conference basketball game between the two schools. A Bradley Tech player approached the Bay View bench and began taunting the players.

A group of fans left the bleachers and took over the basketball court. Police and MPS security worked to restore order and return the fans to their seats. The game was stalled for two to three minutes. The game finished and the fans left Bradley Tech High School without incident.

However, once outside a large group of students crowded the streets blocking and obstructing traffic. Police were able to clear the area around the school within a half hour without any significant incidences.

There were no arrests and no injuries were reported.
