Help Us Help Hunger Task Force
by Michele McCormack

WEST ALLIS---CBS 58 News will be live at the US Cellular Main Gate at Wisconsin State Fair Park Wednesday collecting donations for Hunger Task Force.

The food drive starts at 5:00 a.m. and continues until 6:00 p.m.

Be sure to stop by with a non-perishable food item or cash donation, give us a wave, and you may be on the news with us.

The CBS 58 Morning, noon and 5 p.m. newscasts will all be live with high hopes for success for this very important cause.

And even better, from now through next weekend, any time you donate a turkey the Rexnord company will match it.

The development director for Hunger Task Force has witnessed first hand the good in people.

"People love to give back," Scott Marshall told CBS 58 News, "Sometime people don't know exactly how to do it. This is a really easy way to put the center piece of a Thanksgiving meal."

CBS 58's Michele McCormack was having some fun with volunteer Lee Friday afternoon, directing his forklift at the warehouse.

"We have high hopes that we will be filled to the brim when the CBS 58 Food Drive is over," Michele said.

At about the same time a school bus full of donated items pulled up from the Elmbrook School District and the Dixon Elementery School challenge.

When last we saw them they were still counting up all the food.

But unfortunately, so much more is need.

Please help us and come out big time on Wednesday.
