MILWAUKEE-Polish Fest organizers are prepared and have taken precaution to make sure people have fun but stay safe.

"Wwe have medical personnel on the ground and ambulance for safety," Jane Riley of Polish Fest tells CBS 58, " We have an additional five tents that are unoccupied in the vendor area where people could actually go for shade."

While this weekend will not be an extreme heat event, it will still be cause for concern.

"People should consider drinking lots of water," Paul Biedrzycki of the Milwaukee Health Department says, "Wear lose light fitted clothing and check on your neighbors, especially the elderly."
