Hartland father accused of allowing children to smoke pot on his propertyHARTLAND -- Joel Jamieson of Hartland faces charges related to allegations that he allowed his children and their friends smoke marijuana on his property. Jamieson told police he and his wife both smoke "a bowl of marijuana" every night. The criminal complaint says Jamieson allowed his children to smoke at home, because he would rather keep them close to home. He told police he wanted to know where his children are, and make sure they don't get into other problems. According the criminal complaint, Jamieson admitted his kids began growing marijuana for a short time. He allegedly shut it down, because Hartland police began coming to his house. Jamieson disputed allegations he sold drugs to his children and their friends. He says he allowed his children to buy their own marijuana.
